The above pic is from Padre Tosti's History of Boniface.

I would say this shows more than a hint of heresy & how telling the truth about Boniface amounts to Jansenism is a little hard to comprehend.

U would enjoy reading the works i have mentioned.

Mr. Roscoe,

Sometime in coming months I'll find the leisure to borrow those books through my local Interlibrary Loan service or on-line and study them.  The topic is important and interesting, but even so it'll be awhile before I can continue this discussion with you in a meaningful way.  It does involve how we should view and respect the Papacy and the infallibility of the Church, so when I'm able I'll attempt to address the topic with you from that perspective.

There is much more for us to learn from this history filled with mysteries, angels and demons...
