    BIG NEWS IN UTAH!!!
    .
In Salt Lake City, everyone knows that "The Prophet" can pretty much do anything he wants and gets away with it.
If you don't believe me, just go to SLC (looks like SPLC don't it?) and ASK AROUND --- but be discreet, because you could find yourself under surveillance.
Where it says "NO PARKING" he can park there -- but not only that, he can park on the front steps of the courthouse if he wants to.
They say Mormons shun prostitution and drugs, but The Prophet can have all the private "entertainment" he wants, and controlled substances.
And finally, they say Mormons don't drink alcoholic beverages. Uhhhh -- unless you're The Prophet, who can do whatever he wants.
    .
Okay, so now for the kicker:
They just LOWERED the Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) threshold for DUI in Utah from 0.08% to 0.05% ... (Read: Zero Point Oh Five Percent)
--which means a 110 lb. woman can have 1/2 a drink and get a ticket.
    But what's a ticket?
A DUI (Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or controlled substance) citation (a ticket) can cost you $10,000 by the time the court is done with you.
That's a very expensive half drink.
And you could lose your license to drive while the court is thinking about it, which can take 3 months or more.
It goes like this:  "But your honor, I have to get to work and there's no public transportation there..." -- Judge: "Tough Luck."
    .
    It gets worse.
    .
In Utah, not only did they lower the threshold for BAC, they increased the category of criminal offense for other stuff.
Now, if you get into a car wreck with a DUI, and someone else dies (its always the other guy who dies) they throw the book at you.
It's automatic First Degree Murder, so you can pretty much forget about getting off, even for $30,000.... FUGGETABOUDIT!!!
    .
That is, unless you're The Prophet!

  • Which/what "prophet"?
Many people say "For the Honor and Glory of God!" but, what they should say is "For the Love, Glory and Honor of God". - Fr. Paul of Moll
