  • I KNOW God cares; I FEEL He doesn't.  Until my feelings match my knowledge, I choose knowledge (of Truth.)
"Fake it until you make it" is my particular cross for this life.  I've been doing it since 1969.  I've prayerfully besought a cure without relief, so resigned myself ten years ago.
It's the best advice I can give.

  • God loves unequally (Summa Theologica I q. 20 a. 3 c.):
    Quote from: St. Thomas Aquinas
no one thing would be better than another, if God did not will greater good for one than for another.

And, contrary to what the Modernists think (cf. Humani Generis §26: Modernists "destroy the gratuity of the supernatural order, since God, they say, cannot create intellectual beings without ordering and calling them to the beatific vision."), He is not obliged to give His grace; His grace is completely gratuitous.
