  • I love drama. But I would like to know is drama very prevalent in SSPX parishes or Traditional Chapels?

I just was getting this vibe.

  • What do you call tens of thousands of divorces a year in the Novus Ordo?

Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

  • I mean stuff like clique formation, back-stabbing, gossip, getting sucked into conflicts, criticism, piling up on someone, politics, uncharitableness, etc.
Like small communities are wont to have.

Not here or anywhere near here no.

The only time I heard anything of the sort was on this website from Telephorus

  • Around here, everyone in SSPX is everyones friend. We visited the SSPX school/chapel near Kingston and the same. This Sunday I believe we are going to join up with the St. Catherines chapel and have a big High Mass down there. That should be fun. Meet some more friends.

My question? Does this stuff happen in Sede circles? You seem to be a very fragmented lot who seem to thrive on conflict without actually being Church Militant from what I see. This is based entirely on what I've seen on this forum as I've never met you or a sedecavantist in person but someone said you dress like Novus Ordo's during mass and you all seem to try and mock us, or attack us with hyperbole then comment on how we don't respond alot, but the reason we don't respond alot is because we are not usually sitting at a computer. We are church militant out praying in front of abortion clinics, converting Novus Ordo's to tradition or having friendly gatherings with other SSPXers.

BTW this isn't directed at you Darcy as much as Sede's in general. I personally don't recall you personally having said anything wrong towards us.

The Devil's work. Most Novus Ordo seem to be heretics, but not all. Some are just confused. We should go and find them and bring them back to the church.

  • Raoul has only been Catholic for a short while, and describes himself as "a cradle sede vacantist".

Therefore, his scope of real-life issues in SV versus NO is bound to be limited.

Obviously there are many millions more N.O. Catholics than the few (thousand??) sede vacantists.  The number of SV divorced was really eye-opening to me.

I agree Lord Phan.  We should bring them back to being good Catholics.  We need to show a love for souls.

Yes but HOW do we do that. Of course being an example is a good way, but if you recall Thursday's activism on a recent thread of setting up at an art walk.. now that is inspiring! I wish I had trads I knew around me who would be willing to do this! Anyone in southern California let me know!

Start with small steps.  The Five First Saturdays of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart,

    the Nine First Fridays

Holy Hours of Reparation to the Sacred Heart..

In forums, acting as if we are far superior to "sheeple" Novus Ordo-ites is not going to help.

Making sacrifices nobody knows about for the conversion of sinners.

Finding a niche like visiting prisons, mental hospitals or nursing homes.  (I personally am just no good at nursing homes) finding shut-ins and reading to them.  There are millions of lonely people and outcasts.

But start small and work up.  I was a shut in for many months once, and I will always cherish the Catholics who came visiting, even the old lady Eucharistic Minister  :drillsergeant: LOL and the crazy ladies down the hall.  :smoke-pot: There's always someone who needs help who will feel the love expressed by our scapulars, medals, holy cards  and showing up.

Just begin little works so it doesn't get bogged down in guilt and failure.

Then it must be true...although personally I prefer (in warmer weather) to go to Mass in my birthday suit, sitting up front for all to see ;)

You might not believe it but that is pretty much par for the course in SV chapels, too. Sure, every person might not participate, but many do.  BTW, don't dislocate your shoulder when you pat yourself on the back...

Well, you just said a few uninformed things about "us", but I feel certain no one will take any real offense as no actual harm or offense was intended.
