    • Dr. David Allen White makes reference to this event in his biography of Bishop de Castro Mayer called “The Mouth of the Lion”. Here’s an extract from an overview of the book:


    “In the early years His Excellency worked closely with Plinio Correa de Oliveira, the eventual founder of TFP. Archbishop Lefebvre would say that “TFP saved Brazil from Communism” but as time went on Bishop de Castro Mayer had to distance himself from the organization due to strange tendencies and stories which he had investigated to his satisfaction. He even advised Catholics to steer clear of the organization. Dr. White speaks about some of these tendencies in Part III, Chapter 7 of the book.

    • I read this book and Dr. White just "parroted" Bp. Castor De Mayer's theory about Lay Catholic action.

    Bp. Castro de Mayer's position is in direct contradiction to Bp. Williamson's support of Lay Catholic action.

    I believe Bp. Castro de Mayer signed the VII Council docs too (according to E. Michael Jones).

    So as our "traditional clerical leaders" are signing the Vatican II docs, which are not theologically Catholic,
    they are also deriding Catholic men for standing up to fight for the Faith.

    The practical effect of this contradiction, almost looks like a ʝʊdɛօ-masonic script?

    Regardless, Bp. Castor De Mayer's Lay Catholic action theory has been proven to be bunk.

    Please provide clear proof that Bp. Mayer was against ANY lay Catholic action at all. I don't believe that he was. What he was against, from what I've read, was anti-clerical lay Catholic action.
