  • Instead of sugar-coated words and flattery, when Christians speak they should offer the truth with love, without seeking to serve their own interests, Pope Francis said.

“Let us think closely today: What is our language? Do we speak in truth, with love, or do we speak with that social language to be polite, even say nice things, which we do not feel?” the Pope asked during his June 4 homily in Saint Martha’s House.

  • It's too bad someone didn't say out loud, "You know what, this guy is on to something."

Then another person could holler out "Hey, this new pope isn't even a validly ordained Priest so he can't be the pope."

And a third could say, "I've thought all along that he was just an imposter."

I think Pope Francis is now moved on from Mr. Humble to Mr. Shock Jock (someone who's always trying to say thinks merely to shock people).

I guess old Mr. Humble thinks we need our conscienceness raised.

  • Huhh???  I'm sorry but who is this "Poche" person who's constantly trying to convert Tradtional Catholics to the Novus Ordo religion?  Is he/she a troll?  Everything I've read from "Poche" has nothing to do with Traditional Catholicism.  There are plenty of other sites where fuzzy, Novus Ordo prosthelytizing would be welcomed.  Why doesn't he/she go there?  Please, "Poche", don't preach the Novus Ordo religion here or constantly quote it's Novus Ordo "pope" to us.    It's not Catholic.

  • Thanks for the heads up, Matto.  I haven't visited CathInfo for a while.  I found the thread you mentioned and I'm glad I'm not the only one who's not pleased.  "Poche" needs to shove off.  I'm sure a site like Fisheaters would absolutely love his posts.

  • Poche, as typical in the diabolical influence of the novus ordo clergy, there's a grain of truth in his statement, and that's the seduction for those who do not know the Faith.
It's the hypocrisy of these types of statements that we can't stomach.
Truly, as others have tried to tell you, this is not a new order friendly forum.

No one is trying to convert anybody to a "Novus Ordo" anything. I am just pointing out that the pope has spoken out against the relativism that has found its way in our midst.

Which, even if he was truly speaking out against relativism, would be pretty ironic considering nearly every action he took as a "cardinal" was engendered with a sort of relativism - I don't need to dredge up the pictures of him being "prayed over" by the prot pastor and lighting a menorah with the Jєωs, do I?

But it should be clear enough to all who have eyes to see and ears to hear that everything this pretender does is aimed toward the destruction of the Catholic Church, and the flowering of the Conciliar Church's indifferentist agnosticism.

Well in this talk he spoke out against indifferentist agnosticism.

  • It's handy to know what Francis is saying from a news perspective, but there is very little teaching value in anything he has been saying.

Poche you could maybe just compile a whole bunch of Francis' one-liners into a single post so we can pick them to pieces in one easy to manage thread.

Which, as I already mentioned, is ironic!  And, if you couldn't make the leap yourself, disingenous given that the very nature of the NO leads souls to such a trap!

If I had to guess why Bergoglio has come out with such an attitude now, I'd guess contact with Ratzinger had something to do with it; after the iconoclastic first days of the new regime, the message that "you can fool half the people all the time" etc. needed to be reiterated.

Or, phrased another way... totally putting out in the open the aim of the NO doesn't serve his mission well.  Rather, in taking on (in however a shallow and superfluous way) the appearance of a resistance to such concepts, he can lull people into those very concepts such as indifferentist agnosticism all the better.

It could be the work of the Holy Spirit.
