So the whole e-mail forward is bogus? It seemed to make sense to me.

But still, what if you're one of the 97% who didn't bother to acquire some pepper spray before the day a burglar brakes into your home while you're there?

What we need is an "expedient" solution, for those who aren't prepared with a can of pepper spray or other self-defense.


I would think that spraying some "illegal" wasp spray in a burglar's face would be preferable to letting a burglar have his way with one's family.

I suppose it's better to use pepper spray, for the reasons you cite. We should add it to our list of "preps" -- and let's hope that none of us ever have a need for it.

NEVER USE INDOORS!” You can also be sued for using wasp spray in self defense because of this warning on the label.

And that's coming from someone who hates putting up with the legal crap that comes with incidents like this. He complains about the hassles it causes him, but he doesnt mind if it keeps him from having to stuff you in a body bag.
