Matt, I respect your world view and relish your posts, but in all honesty, have we not been hearing that the collapse is imminent for nearly five years now? You;ll recall G. Celente and ilk types making these plastered speeches on A. Jones weekly, but . . . nothing.

I am waiting for October, 2017. That's what's coming down, I believe. We'll be at QE X and Traditionalists and conservative protestants alike will have been persecuted legally, socially, professionally(fired from jobs), and financially(audits and such). God's justice will then mete out on us for disobeying His Mother.

Some thoughts…

First of all, it's pretty obvious that the wheels are going to come off the bus, and it's been looking for a while now as if it could come at any time. But nobody knows exactly when, not even the cognoscenti pulling strings behind the scenes.

The October 2017 date has been kicked around a lot because of the similarity with the the 100 years to the day from the 1689 "private revelation" to Sr. Margaret Mary Alacoque asking for France to be consecrated to the Sacred Heart and the French revolution and execution of Loius XIV in 1789. However, Our Lady told Sr. Lucy of her request for the consecration of Russia on June 13, 1929 at the convent in Tuy, Spain, and not at Fatima in October of 1917. It's perfectly possible that things will continue to deteriorate until then -- it's only another 16 years till 2029, after all -- and THEN the fecal matter will hit the fan big time.

Or maybe God will run out of patience sooner.

Actually I was among those who helped convince the world that a housing collapse was in progress back in 2008 -- before it was commonly accepted. I used to read a blog all about the housing collapse. The blog shut down after it became accepted by the mainstream.

I have been predicting an economic collapse, yes, and I was right. In 2008 a major recession/depression started, which we still haven't recovered from.

And predicting an economic collapse is easy -- it's a question of mathematics. If you increase the total debt/money supply 10% a year, the graph goes parabolic at some point, because of compounding. If you don't understand what I just said -- LOOK INTO IT, THINK ABOUT IT, LEARN ABOUT IT because few people understand how compound interest works.

Go chart what a 10% annual increase in the money supply looks like. At a certain point, it goes parabolic or "straight up" -- that's when the dollar will collapse.

But it's a mathematical certainty that it will happen.

It's my understanding from Scripture that not even the Son "knows the day and the hour". It seems odd to me that a moderator on a forum such as this would be conjecturing on this subject. Do you think you have a "tomorrow"? Think again. You may not, nor may I. We live now, today, as best we can by the grace given us and we carry our cross because Jesus is just there, on the path, ahead of us.

How did you go from speculation about war and bank collapses to the Second Coming?

But that's not really the traditional Catholic understanding of the End Times either - it's just the CAF party line (not saying that's where you got it from, but that's where I see it). The Son certainly knows the day and the hour in His Divinity, but He concealed that knowledge in His humanity. Our Lord told us to watch for the signs of the times for a reason. Sure, we have to be ready each and every day, but those days will be particularly dangerous. Those warning were for our benefit. The neo-Cath line would make them out to be a waste of Apostolic ink.

This is a very good point. Very few of us truly understand how compound interest works. Understanding compound interest (and the exponential function) is the key to understanding our modern credit (usurious) banking system and our economy.

Here is a good series of short videos on youtube on this. Fair warning, it is an old guy (UofColorado professor) giving a lecture on math. But he explains it really well and in easy to understand terms. It is well worth the time for everyone to take a look, even if you think you don't like math. This has a lot of real world applicability.

Then you must have read "The Great Reckoning" years ago like I did. That book predicted EVERYTHING we are experiencing today but they were off by about 10 years.
