Here's something all the hate and debate people can sink their teeth into.

I say no He doesn't. If He did He would be nothing but a gamesman, playing ducks and drakes with human suffering. The very thought is unfair.

Allows evil. Due to our free will he allows it and can bring good out of it. I mean the history of the world before the birth of Christ is all about God using people who were not his followers to pave the way for the birth of Christ.

I can't imagine Our God actually willing evil.

Many people in the world might think He is evil because He allows it to happen, but they don't understand, not to say I understand it all. This is where our trust in God comes in.

Yes, allows and out of our rot he brings good. He could never will evil for evil has not part in him. People like to do that with the Old Testament. They will say God is hate because we see times that he raised up someone, Samson, Joshua and that person wiped out tens of thousands of people. O.K. They are fools and we forget one thing, God knows if those people were damned already and would die in total unrepentance. They were the evil and God wiped them out so His people could move forward. And, never mind that His people were/are always sinners. He moved them so that the world would be set for the birth of His Son. We use our free will for evil. It is our foolish choice.

He "wills to permit". We all know that. He wills to permit free will----much to the disgust of my Baptist nephew I once told him that God is pro choice.

Page 18 did not tell me that God wills evil.

Yes, He does allow evil. How can He stop it without straight-jacketing our will?

What does it matter anyway? These questions have no bearing on our spiritual life and aiming for holiness and Heaven. We'll all find out the answers to all of our questions one day, but then the answers won't matter to us.

I was thinking this morning what playthings we've become for satan and his minions.

Comments about "fairness" mean nothing without significant clarification of what is meant by evil, God's will, etc.

We will get along just fine, although I am not sure what bee has crawled into your bonnet of late (or why you SEEM to be trying to get into her head in my regard).
