  • Hi All! I've been reading about distributism and was wondering if anyone has any recommended reading.

Also, as I understand it is an agrarian movement to distribute property widely. I view it as a 1) religious, 2) political, 3) cultural, and 4) economic comprehensive application of Catholic teaching to all areas of life.

I was wondering if anyone has attempted implementing these principles or if anyone would like to team up to work on some stuff. Most trads and Catholics are probably divided as regards #1, religion (sede vs. sspx vs. etc.), but I thought we could all attempt to unite more under the other areas. Politically we can get an anti-war pro-Just War Theory and anti-abortion movement grown. Culturally, can oppose gαys and destructive music and so on. Economically, can network to create more independence and smaller businesses and operations.

I used the search function and didn't see anything come up for distributism.

Works of Fr. Fahey, Hilaire Belloc, and G.K. Chesterton, among others, are relevant.

Some distributist titles are on ihspress.com and also distributistreview.com
