Matthew has posted an important piece titled HOW TO DETECT A DISINFORMATION AGENT. It is a piece to read, or to re-read. The techniques described apply to the blog, and therefore are playing a role towards the Faith, because disinformation agents, the "wolf in sheep's clothing" use those techniques to deceive the faithful.
That say, those so-called techniques may also be used for the good. For example Our Lord Jesus Christ used the well known technique of "answering a question with an other question" once to the Pharisees when asked who He was. Our Lord then answered to His adversaries with a question by asking the Pharisees if the baptisms given by John (St. John the Baptist) was from God or from man -Luke 20.4.
One of the technique of disinformation is called "drowning the fish". This means bringing a load of false answers in order to counter what may be the truth. For example, I post that "1+2=3".
Not everyone knows arithmetic, so the adversary capitalize on this by bringing many different answers such as "2", or "4", or non-integers such as "3.1415...", etc, then a "debate" begins with questions such as to "where he is coming from(?)", or "is he an authority in the Mathematics(?)", or by simply giving noisy rebukes, etc, that to no-end. The result is that the true answer is soon forgotten, or "drowned" in a meaningless debate.
One particular technique of the blog is to create a bogus audience. This is done with creating a choir of ghost-bloggers under different fictitious names in order to create the illusion of a consensus. This particular technique is used to drag the readership into meaningless issues, and consequently further from the situation of the moment, which situation may be critical. For example an individual named Bishop of Oz, using the acknowledged fictitious name of "Holy Ghost" might use other undeclared (fictitious) names such as "Souslov", or "Emperor Augustus", or simply have a group of followers in order to create an illusion of a forum. This is a technique commonly used in Radio, when talk-show-hosts pay people to call them (Rush Limbaugh, or Michael Savage are regularly accused of that). Bishop of OZ is not necessarily a bad guy, on the contrary he might be a very good guy. He simply might not be in a position of total freedom, and who is?
Why am I saying all that? Because I am attempting to prevent two particular postings from disappearing from sight. Those two postings are A VISION OF BLESSED JOSEPH, and A DREAM OF THE VIRGIN MARY. I am attempting to demonstrate that those two postings, which are based upon private revelations, might have an apocalyptic significance, as well as some sense of urgency. Those postings should be seriously considered. I am attempting to prove that I write truthfully by a cluster of other postings relating to verifiable events. Naturally I am under fire. This is not easy to report what is unpleasant because the world is truly dangerous. Let me explain with a theory:
A person named "Miss Judy Devotion" has, in the past, described and justified in advance a disaster such as a tidal-wave; warned about making affronts against the Our Lady of Guadalupe, which warnings became an earthquake, and a string of other disasters; written about the lifestyle of a looked-upon terrorist a year before this terrorist got caught, etc. Miss Devotion is hiding now but cannot remain silent about some revelations, which revelations are being covered-up by a cowardly clergy. She results to a writing-hand. The writing-hand therefore presents private revelations while also attempting to demonstrate accuracy of report through verifiable and tangible facts. This theoretical case of "Miss Devotion" is not far from the reality. The readership is left to decide.
