  • This old bear goes to bed too early plus living in the city mitigates decent viewing.

Geminids are coming up in December but I doubt I will catch those either

    Missed the Leonids too methinks

Where we live the Southeastern sky (where Monoceros is now) is free of city glow, but the rain clouds mooted that advantage.

  • I would love to be out in the country in the cold air and relatively deep snow, staring up into the night sky as the stars twinkle their Yuletide radiance late next month........
O holy night, the stars may they be brightly shining, for twill be the night of our dear Saviour's birth........

O Star of Wonder Star Night Star with royal beauty bright...........sigh
