Doctor: Detroit Abortion Stats ‘Like Some Third World Country’

Nearly one-third of all pregnancies in the city of Detroit end in abortion, a statistic public health officials blame on rising poverty and dwindling access to affordable contraception.
Of an estimated 18,360 pregnancies among Detroit residents in 2012, the most recent year for which data are available, 5,693 ended in abortion, or 31 percent.

While the abortion rate has been climbing in Detroit, it’s been declining in Michigan and across the U.S. “We’re seeing a picture that looks more like some Third-World country than someplace in the United States,” said Dr. Susan Schooley, chairwoman of the Department of Family Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital.

I was out at an abortion clinic last week. The guy who brought one of the women said it wasn't a baby yet- until she pushed it out.
The conversations continued for 20-30 minutes with the man stating I was twisting his words. The truth was that he was completely illogical and he could not come up with a sound reason for a child to be aborted. Did that stop him? No, and all it did was prove the ignorance, insensitivity, and selfishness spreading in this country like a plague.

I ask that everyone consider praying outside of abortion clinics, holding signs while asking the men and women to hold life precious.

I really can't believe that man was ignorant or insensitive. He knew exactly what he did: he was an accessory to murder.

Pro-Abortionists are not stupid or ignorant people - most are very smart. They absolutely know they are killing another human being but, with every ounce of their being and energy, they will outwardly deny that fact so they can't be held accountable (to others, to themselves and to God) because admitting or acknowledging that basic truth is devastating and abhorrent. Pro-Abortionists know 100% they are killing another human being - they just will not or cannot admit that very clear fact to themselves and to others - because to do so, they would admit to themselves that they are murderers. Most people would never bring themselves to admit they are murderers. Those who obtain, help in, or perform abortions are murderers. They know that. How many guilty people in prison lie about their innocence even though the overwhelming evidence is that they are guilty of their crime? This isn't "ignorance" or stupidity. This is out and out lying. The same is true with pro-abortionists. They are culpable and will answer for their crimes.
