  • Note-a lot of smug NeoCaths try to attack Belloc nad Distributism by pointing out that Belloc was "pro French Revolution", but as this article ntoes, it was while he was a lax young Catholic...as usual, no thought given that gee, maybe he changed his views later when he began to take his faith seriously.

  • Thanks, will read it shortly-a lot of people never give him or others credit for changing, usually to strawmen someone.For instance, Dorothy Day was a real feminist in early yrs, then made aradical conversion and change,yet her early life is often used as a weapon against here many long yrs as a devote Catholic....the article writer in the article you cite makes a good note on this thinking...thanks for article!
