The entire articles(s) on this matter are even more revealing, and frightening.

As one who has some dealings, and backgound, in these matters; I come away, not in astonishment, but in conviction of nefariousness.

While some of you may fully understand the implications of what has been discovered, most others are heading down a bit of the wrong path.

This has little to do with vaccines, and personal risk, and has everything to do with the creation and release of a lethal global pandemic strain.

I will attempt a brief explanation............

Classic microbiology, has been, for the most part, a game of numbers. With bacteria, and even more so, viruses, the numbers of organisms in a "bucket" are astronomical. Mix a few of these buckets together, let the bugs happily intermingle, then select for changes that may have arisen as a result of their numerous infidelities. The genius is in development of selection methods. The bugs do all the work. This, of course is rapidly changing in modern microbiology. But the old methods still work.

Viruses are much more difficult to work with, as they require a "host" in their replication cycle. In addittion, they are very very small, almost self-replicating molecules, perhaps not true life forms, but I digress.

Viruses produce different symptoms in their hosts, if any at all. They spread through different vectors, and into different species. There is tremendous variety. Mix the wrong buckets and select for the wrong symptoms........there is tremendous danger here. We will go on..................

As a budding mass murderer, or depopulationist: regardless of motivation, I have the following task at hand......How to rapidly kill off say: 75% of the worlds population. That should do it!

I like viruses, and I have to make one with very high transmissability, infectivity, and pathogenicity/mortality. Hmmm..........

What do we have at hand? Hmmm........

How about H3N2 for starters? Common human flu virus, easy transmitted by airborne and other vectors, highly infective, but not so deadly. Hmmm..., what else have we got?

What about H5N1? Another flu virus, aslo highly transmissible, and extremely deadly; producing mortality in 60-90% of infections while under INTENSIVE care! Sounds great! But wait a minute, it mostly likes birdies, not people. Hmmm.......

Wait a minute!!!!!!!!!!! What if I was to take the various attributes of these two beasties and combine them??? Would not our problem be solved?????? In nature this recombination is possible, and dreaded, by global health authorities. This is the global pandemic they fear. Remember mortality levels mentioned above? But I can't wait for this to spontaneously arise, so how to speed things along a bit? Hmmm....

So we obtain a "bucket" of each strain, and mix them together. Some high tech connections would be great for this, and they are only BSL 3, so not so tough. Forget that the presence of the two strains in the same facility raises BSL 4 concerns...no one will notice.

But unlike bacteria, these little beaties will not breed in the buckets. The need a host within which to conduct their indiscretions. Hopefully, with enough contact in a warm and safe body, two of these guys will get intimate enough to exhange the information required to birth the monster we desire.

Now how to get it out there, and into as many warm hosts as possible, and let nature take its course?
