I've never read the books, but did catch the movies when on tv. It's pure evil and mocking our Church. The screen plays were written by the "chosen" ones who love to meddle with uninformed minds.

How many souls lost to this garbage?

I read the book in a freakin airport layover once. I'll admit, page-turner, but I tossed it before finishing it when I realized WHAT IT WAS.

Never saw the movie. **crosses self** Heard it was BAD.

The guy has NO SHOT to Purgatory unless he gets brain "damage" and wises up. He has a wrong soul. Scary. He's ALL about the money. His responses (they'll be there forever) are disgusting.
