Speaking of Mel Gibson, I was reminded of Braveheart during that trailer.
The guy on horseback, standing before his army giving a rousing speech on the eve of battle -- about how they will have FREEEDOOMMM!!! or die trying.
Oh yeah, vivaChristorey and all that....mumble mumble....
That's how Hollywood does it -- they throw enough "bones" (props, characters, religious elements, "Viva Christo Rey", etc.) to keep everyone happy, while totally distorting what a struggle was about. They re-cast things in a modern light, with modern world values, etc.
Most struggles end up being re-cast as being about freedom -- you know, Liberty, Fraternity, Equality -- one of those three.
How can it be surprising though. It's a fact that Jews run Hollywood, and who INVENTED Freemasonry? The Jews.
