I can't even be bothered to respond to what RT posts, and obviously, neither can a lot of others.
His posts remind me of a rag, tabloid newspaper's front page:
MAN BITES DOG!!!
...only to open to page 2 and find a photo of a guy happily munching on a Nathan's frankfurter.
Seriously... while I have been accused (and sometimes fairly) of overly-emotional language, RT and several others are simply using hate-filled polemical phraseology to try and get people riled up.
It's precisely FOR THAT REASON that I decided to start a discussion about something as simple and plain to understand as the venerable Sign of the Cross.
It's really just because I am sick of the flame-throwers being brought out by people who have NO interest in constructive dialogue.
Even Caminus and I have had decent, mature exchanges (at least one or two) lately; I think that shows that there are people here of what I perceive to be generally good will (albeit with agendas, no doubt), and then there are people who are here to disrupt any sense of community that we might possibly engender by our sharing with one another.
I am not going to ask for banning or moderating anyone, but I will say that I will respect whatever decisions Matthew comes to.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
