Aw there are lots of good catholics out there! My eyes have always been bigger than my stomach (lol!) I want to meet them ALL!
Im just jealous that the dads get to do this trip I know it will be alot of fun and very informative.
Im still thinking of doing a catholic bed and breakfast out here in Nothern canada. It is so beautiful and quiet and clean where we are and best of all we are on the way to ALASKA.
We have met one older couple from Kansas and we just loved staying up late and hearing their journey to the tradtional catholic faith. It is exciting to see and hear how God works in our lives.
It was during that conversation that I first found out there are traditional catholic communities in various parts of the US. I was so happy to hear that mass is said 4 times on Sunday at St. Marys in Kansas. I can only imagine what that feels and looks like.
I must admitt Im a hungry catholic. Mass for our family is spiritual most sundays without a priest. Thanks to SSPX we have the TLM 4 times a year. We have access to our natural ukrainian rite but it is a 3hr one way drive and doesnt happen over the winter season. Plus Im no super mom and packing 6 kids to the city is no cup of tea especially when you enjoy the simplicity and quietness of the farmlife. The sad thing is the ukrainian church has no young families and during the week its almost empty even Sundays are lucky to have 20 people. Yet this same church has over 200 though every christmas and easter???????
Anyhow not despairing God has a plan and I always like to knock on a door or two as is my impatient nature. Always have a desire to seek to knock and to ask.
I have been this way most my life I doubt I will stop anytime soon.
Thanks for your help and support. i will try to look up TLM directories (Im sure that will help) Till then have a goodnight Im off to bed my kids are gonna kill me tomorrow if I dont get some shut eye!!!!
