I plan on getting married in the next 5 or so years but I don't plan on starting to have kids till I am in my 30's. I sure as hell don't want to get pregnant between now and the next 8 years, so I use BC. I know a lot of people my age who feel the same.

Christian men beware of women near 30 looking to latch on to you for their own selfish plans.

  • And all of those women on there will probably end up dying of ovarian or breast cancer.
Multiculturalism exchanges honest ignorance for the illusion of truth.

    Fitting.

Because as people move up in income, and get more comfortable they have no desire for large families. Kids today are a negative asset unlike in the past. In the past if you ran a farm, having a lot of kids meant having extra hands that could maximize production. Then when the kids got old enough, they went off and did their own thing. However in todays day and age between school fees, sports, college, and kids breaking stuff, they are not an investment like they were. An average middle class family doesn't feel like going broke goes for a few more kids so they have less.

Notice every argument on the board boils down to materialism, utilitarianism, and selfishness.

  • Naturally I disagree with contraceptives because it's against the Churches teachings.  Yet on the other hand I feel sorry for those children whose parents don't love them and are abused by them.  In this evil world  so many innocent children suffer needlessly.  It's hard to be a Catholic! :sign-surrender:
