In a Novus Ordo chapel they built near my home, there used to come a Novus Ordo priest that had a weird thing where he would always say "bebed", which is Spanish for "drink", very badly, as if his tongue got tied in that very word or something like that. It sounded as if he babbled the word so it was funny, and many of the guys who went there actually made fun of him outside of mess. They would make jokes about it. Even my uncle.

Imagine that? In the would-be most sacred part of the Mass, the Consecration, this priest would babble a word out and people would laugh and joke about it.

If it were the Latin Mass, he wouldn't be facing the people, and that part of the Mass, the canon, is spoken in a low voice so that only those in the sanctuary can hear it.

That was my point. It's all open to abuse and things like what I said now.
