  • I recently noticed that the revamped SSPX homepage has a "community" drop down menu...which is where you find locations and schools.  This reminds me of a typical NO web page as they use the word community.  I find this latest 'update' disheartening.  Really, why?

Moreover, this labeling made it hard to find a location.  Why not use the term "location" like they used to?

  • I don't see that.  When I go to sspx.org, about half way down I see individual boxes labeled chapels, schools, retreat centers, and Mass locator.  Where do you see "community"?

  • Horizontally, under SSPX, across the top it says "Home...About...Community..."  It is under the community tab that you are linked to the chapels and the schools and district, etc.

  • I found their new page more difficult to navigate. The moral Q&A section is harder to find.

But community? That is odd, I think directory is a much better choice of words.

"Where you find...I find this latest...hard to find..."  All objective
    things.  Good job, Olive.

I'm really impressed with you ladies.

I found (it) more difficult to navigate -- an objective assessment.

You'd be stepping right into their web if you were talking
about how the new site makes you FEEL.  But here you
are, Mabel, saying what you THINK!

I'm really impressed with you ladies.

You were so impressed you said it twice! You even said so in your wonky stanza-like formatting. Everything you write is like a poem, Neil. Above all, you were not just impressed, you were really impressed. Yay. Gold star for me today, I impressed a stranger on the Internet.

I liked their old page, it was user friendly and the information I wanted took less steps to find. Big deal.

  • I don't like the web site - it is too modern imo.

I went to google and typed in SSPX as I suspect a multitude have done and will do. My first impression was that the site is NO friendly. The first thing your eyes are drawn to is the big picture of that prot friendly cross.

And you're right, the word "community" up there comes from the NO, soon they'll have "dialog" in there somewhere. Also notice how the words, in typical modern fashion, do not start with capital letters.

I don't care for the looks of it either.
