  • If you use the "new posts" feature, you might have noticed that they no longer reset on their own. It used to reset at 15 minutes of inactivity which, in my life of constant interruption, made the feature quite unuseful. However, you can still manually reset your "new posts" at any time by clicking one of the blue dots on the home page. Why does this little blue dot control such things? ... I have no idea, I didn't write the software, but it does what it does.

I hope this tidbit is useful to someone.

  • Bump.

Given the present brevity of the New Posts screen, some might find this information useful.

  •  :confused1: I just clicked on a blue dot and got a message saying 'all posts have been marked as read'.

  • That is the last time I will click on a blue dot as all the new posts have been wiped out.
