Title: Collective Immigration
Post by: poche on July 25, 2014, 12:33:43 AM
Bishop Charbel, co-bishop Quaracoche, told me today, July 20, with great sadness and tears, the miserable plight of Christians in the Nineveh Plain. He appealed to the leaders of world powers to open the possibility of a collective emigration for all the Christians of Iraq, and save the rest of the Christians of the crushing of Islamic terrorist groups that spread and destroy the culture and civilization Christian.

There is only the collective emigration that could save the rest of Christian death and extermination. We call and urge the leaders of Western countries like Canada, the U.S. and even Australia to take seriously our request. We want to save the rest of the Christians in Iraq.

Unfortunatly if they come here the hateful mobs, egged on by law enforcement officials would probably attack them.

I don't know what would be worse for them...Muslims or our secular American society.

They are schematics anyway, otherwise Rome could do something for them.

Anyway, here in the USA, we have our hands full with Latinos.  Maybe an Orthodox country like Greece can take them in.

I used to wonder if Poche was a novus ordo presider trying to bring us back to the rainbow sash or something...

...but now I think he's an unemployed AP reporter.

Bishop Charbel [....] appealed to the leaders of world powers [....]

Would this be the same man as the 76-years-old retired Maronite Bishop Charbel Georges Merhi M.L. (http://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/bishop/bmerhi.html) of Buenos Aires, Argentina?  Regionally overseeing the faithful of what's more formally the "Syriac Maronite Church of Antioch"?

[....] the leaders of world powers to open the possibility of a collective emigration for all the Christians of Iraq [...]

Ich spreche Franzözich auch nicht!

So, did the French-URL Web-page offer any population numbers that were more solid than hand-waving wild-asinus guesses, or than deliberate undercounts devised to avoid frightening the host countries being "appealed to"?

[....] and save the rest of the Christians of the crushing of Islamic terrorist groups that spread and destroy the culture and civilization Christian[sic].  There is only the collective emigration that could save the rest of Christian death and extermination.  We call and urge the leaders of Western countries like Canada, the U.S. and even Australia to take seriously our request.  We want to save the rest of the Christians in Iraq.

What about their brethren in the other 2 West-Syriac-Rite churches: Syriac and Syro-Malankara?  What about the East-Syriac-Rite Churches: Chaldean and Syro-Malabar?  What about the perilously located Alexandrian-Rite Coptic Church and its brother Ethiopian Church? All of these are in communion with Rome (such as that is), and all, except possibly the latter, are situated in Muslim-majority countries with an inability or indifference to protecting Christians, thus vulnerable to attempted "extermination" by "Islamic terrorist groups".

And I can't be the only reader who noticed that the text as translated doesn't include the limitation "in Iraq" in each statement describing what's being requested.  Perhaps there's a cinical reason for such omissions:

Saving the "Christians in Iraq" is a subset of the order-of-magnitude-broader problem "saving the Christians in the Middle East" from "Islamic terrorist groups".  Why should generous Anglophone nations believe that foreign clamoring for "equal treatment" wouldn't almost immediately abuse recent generosity by escalating to that much broader problem?

This is what illegal immigration and open borders are doing...

http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-arrest-warrant-issued-california-man-tuberculosis-20140725-story.html

Arrest warrant issued for California man with tuberculosis

Prosecutors in Northern California have issued an arrest warrant for a man with tuberculosis who has refused treatment and may be contagious, putting the public at risk.

The case of Eduardo Rosas Cruz, 25, is of particular concern for public health officials because he hails from a part of Mexico known for a drug-resistant strain of tuberculosis, according to the San Joaquin County district attorney's office.

Authorities became aware of Cruz, who was described as a transient, after he went to San Joaquin General Hospital's emergency room in March complaining of a severe cough and shortness of breath, KCRA-TV reported. After he was diagnosed with tuberculosis, the station reported, officials at the hospital told Cruz a health worker would meet him at a Stockton motel room and watch him take his medication, but he took off and authorities say he hasn't been seen since.

Stuff your insults.  Your advocacy would be more effective if you would follow the above-quoted bishop's lead, and make an honest effort to "take [it] seriously"; explaining, e.g.:

· What benefit such immigration would offer the U.S.A., especially what presently scarce skills they'd bring that apply outside their own ethnic groups?
· Why their practically unskilled workers would not simply further depress wages of wage-slave U.S. citizens, and crowd more out of the workforce?
· Why their arrival would not further inflate the rolls of tax-supported noncontributory "welfare" programs?
· What claims or enrollment will be allowed in tax-supported contributory "welfare" programs by this ethnic group that has never paid U.S. taxes (e.g.: unemployment, Social Security)?
· How politically prudent foreign promises, made before arrival, potentially waiving  claims to "welfare", "affirmative action", and other special treatment under existing U.S. law or court decisions, can themselves be given the force of U.S. law?
· How the U.S.A. would accomodate yet another ethic group whose majority probably doesn't speak serviceable English, but instead, Arabic or Syriac?
· Why they should be expected to assimilate the practical daily requirements of U.S. culture, instead of forming single-ethnicity enclaves, which seem much more likely to result from "collective immigration" than any other variation of immigration?
· Finally, under what verifiable conditions would this especially privileged "collective immigration" end?

POCHE, Good Friend.

You are CORRECT that the majority if Hispanics crossing the
border are mainly Christians.  That may be true in the first
and second generation.  The majority of Hispanics I knew
whom were border jumpers lost their Christian Faith some
place in Mexico, and become rabid secularists and pagan as
the vast majority of Americans whom opposes illegal
immigration.   Maybe the Grand Parents remain Catholic
or return to the Catholic Church after some years of non
religious practices. I remember over 20 years ago while
living in Long Beach, Ca., a majority Methodists Hispanic
Church featured a painting of our Lady of Gaudalupe.
Funny, even a Protestant seminary I visited in the 1960's
had a painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I was told that
it was thrown out from a Novus Ordo Seminary to be
replaced with modern art.
The Hispanics newly arrive either legal and illegal are taught
hate against "White People" They are taught that "White People"
are the source of their bad luck and there station of Life.
And it is all right to kill "White People" even a Texan
Professor preached this in his University and never censored.
And whom are responsible for this race hate, They are the JєωS.
And this is how the JєωS rule. Divide and Conquer.

A collective immigration of Iraqi Christians to the United States would be a matter of social justice. The Iraqi Christians were doing better in Iraq under the Ba'athist regime of Saddam Hussein than they are today. There they could fnd a minimum of justice and stability. Today thanks to the fight against weapons of mass destruction (which turned out to be a hoax) the Christians of Iraq have found nothing but instability, death, extortion, and now they are expelled out of one of the oldest centers of Christianity.
Isn't it ironic that ISIL suddenly appears just after Obama (the next American president) starts giving weapons to the Syrian Islamic subversives?

This is how they fool the people into going to their church. Make it look like a Catholic church.
