Apparently, Orange County is one of the places hit by ferocious wildfires and high winds.

Orange County is the infamous Bishop Brown's territory.

Because Bishop Brown is openly promoting sodomy as an alternative lifestyle, and the man has completely lost the Faith. I'm thinking that with so much wickedness, God is using fire to punish this wicked city, just as he did Sodom and Gomorrha many centuries ago.

Fire is appropriate, since it represents lust, which burns and consumes like fire.

Vandaler may be right, though. While this movie is upholding the sanctity of life, God Himself is discouraging the evil of ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity. That's our fight in a nutshell; discourage evil and encourage good. And how many times have I said that when we act, God helps us. When we fail to act, what is God going to help with? This young man really acted, and God is really acting. Think about it.

No, Bishop Brown's heresy is quite public and formal.

It is obvious that he has lost the Faith, and is not Catholic. Little (if anything) he says is Catholic.

I don't have a source, but one of the articles I read about Bishop Brown said that he gave a talk/sermon in which he was basically against Our Lady! When I heard that, I knew he had lost it.

I wish I could get more information on the specific things he has done (besides pushing ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ rights, etc.)

You need to read more about Bishop Brown -- he is much worse than a mere modernist. He goes beyond that.
