  • I realize Obama is going to win a 2nd term, but here is one thing I'd like to point out.

What is wrong with this picture?

  • A week ago on Coast to Coast AM (they called it Ghost-to-Ghost AM) there was
a report of an electronic vote-counting system that was "flipping votes" from
Romney to Obama in about 5% of the cases.  When a spokesman for the system
answered questions by a journalist, he said that there was obviously a 'glitch' in
the system that needed to be repaired, and they'll have their software people on
it without delay.  Then the reporter said to George Noory, "The software 'glitch'
consists of the fact that this vote-flipping is being noticed as such, and the
software 'repair' will consist of making sure that the vote-flipping does NOT show
    up
as anything irregular, but as if no flipping took place, even though it did take
    place."

    Isn't that nice?

Makes you want to sing the National Anthem, don't it?    HAHAHAHAHA  :tv-disturbed:

  • Please note the Obama didn't exactly carry away the country with a majority or something -- in some states, less than 1% would make the difference between winning and losing the state.

Both sides have their "strongholds", but there are many battleground states where it was down-to-the-wire.

The slightest bit of voter fraud, or Diebold election machine "glitches", could hand a given state to Obama.

That's probably what happened this election.

Nothing wrong with the picture.  CNN is quite clear on how they end up making these projections.  Mainly, it's all about exit polls and where the actual counted votes are coming from.   As long that votes will be hand counted,  and that Republicans stronghold are in rural areas (where votes are quicker to count because they are less off them), you will see strong results in the beginning and Dems catching up as votes from cities come in later.

It's certainly not bias to call something right in advance.  It's actually folly for a news network to call something out if they're not positively confident.

  • Perhaps the dimwit that thumbed me down should look into why FOX news projected Wisconsin for Obama BEFORE CNN did.  Perhaps that person thinks that FOX news is more biased towards liberals then CNN is ?

  • Oh well, correction... CNN called it at 9:25 PM and FOX news called it 5 minutes later at 9:30.  The first to call Wisoncsin was ABC news at 9:00 PM.
