I call these "nonfastforwardables" as in, you don't have to fast forward anything.
Watch Henry V (Kenneth Brannagh version). Great performances by Brannagh, Brian Blessed, Paul Scofield and more.
Can be watched completely in conscience, and is dripping with Catholic themes.
Probably the best original score ever composed. Tear jerking scene where Non Nobis is sung.
Would link to favorite scenes, but don't want to spoil anything. Some violence, so may not be appropriate for some Children
What about Fawlty Towers? I think that any adult could watch that in conscience. Good brit humor. Some of the jokes are a little mature (barely any, really) but I don't think I'd go so far as to label them as inappropriate for, say, a married couple to watch.
Doubt is a great movie about the problems caused modernist pedophile priest. A great and subtle study on the time right before the council. Would not recommend to children, but fine for adults.
A Man for All Seasons, of course.
As far as TV shows, it's hard for me to say. I'm a fan of Law and Order Criminal Intent, but I must admit that it is very adult (dealing with lots of murders and some sex crimes). Compared to most TV, there's not a whole lot to fastforward (in terms of actual flesh) but it' still very mature. Occasionally a main character will say something that is disagreeable. So if you want, you can check it out but I wouldn't label it as a "nonfastforwardable."

http://www.kids-in-mind.com/Lots of reviews of movies. They are very, very thorough and decribe just exactly why something is given the rating it is given. They rate movies according to three categories: sex, violence and language. They also make special mentions of films that might contain religious offenses and other things that may not strictly fit into how they categorize sex, violence and language. As far as I can tell, even if a movie has a man and wife quickly kiss on the lips, it will receive a 'one' (out of ten) in the sex category. Like I said, they are very, very thorough.
One warning: as they are very thorough, reading the reasoning behind a movies rating may be an occasion of sin for some. If a film is rated very high in the sex category, I advise against reading the review of it.
