  • Is Gothic the only acceptable style of church architecture?
Does Catholicism entail having the mind, training and creativity of a middle ages European?
Now if the inside of the church looks like a wreckovated novus ordo church, then that's a different story. What if the inside were decent? At least it doesn't look like a shopping mall.

  • I'm just caught by the thingy about this church being used as an observation tower. Then of course, it has a statue of Leif Ericson out front...

I can see putting a statue of Leif in front of a school, but  a church...?

  • Leif was probably saved through implicit faith.

From what little I've read he was Christian.

Leif was saved through explicit faith since he was a Catholic!

There's no such thing as being "saved through implicit faith".

"Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the Catholic faith." - St. Athanasius (Athanasian Creed), repeated by Pope Eugene IV at the Council of Florence

    Ladislaus was being sarcastic.

Oh. I see he was banned too.

Well for those interested, Leif Ericson was a Catholic viking and missionary in Greenland. He was converted to the faith and baptized by the great King of Norway Olaf Tryggvason.
