    • Is Gothic the only acceptable style of church architecture?
    Does Catholicism entail having the mind, training and creativity of a middle ages European?
    Now if the inside of the church looks like a wreckovated novus ordo church, then that's a different story. What if the inside were decent? At least it doesn't look like a shopping mall.

    • Look at the Cathedral seat of Iceland's Bishop, not fully Gothic, but not modern either.

    I posted this as, while reading about Iceland, saw the pic and thought it was funny shape, I posted it fore humor sake, for gosh sakes..........

    • I'm just caught by the thingy about this church being used as an observation tower. Then of course, it has a statue of Leif Ericson out front...

    I can see putting a statue of Leif in front of a school, but  a church...?

    Well for those interested, Leif Ericson was a Catholic viking and missionary in Greenland. He was converted to the faith and baptized by the great King of Norway Olaf Tryggvason.
