  • it's even worse than these stats make out. most young people I know will say they're christian when asked, simply because they were raised christian and that's their default, but if you ask them if they believe in god they'll say no(and they don't seem to realise the contradiction there but whatever). so it's likely that a very large percentage of young christians aren't even christian at all.
    It can be even worse!  We have neighbors sporting a big logo from a nearby mega-church (protestant) and on Good Friday and Easter Monday they got into huge f-bomb dropping arguments in the front of their house - the whole street could hear what was going on!
