    Europe’s march towards a post-Christian society has been starkly illustrated by research showing a majority of young people in a dozen countries do not follow a religion.

    The survey of 16- to 29-year-olds found the Czech Republic is the least religious country in Europe, with 91% of that age group saying they have no religious affiliation. Between 70% and 80% of young adults in Estonia, Sweden and the Netherlands also categorise themselves as non-religious.

    The most religious country is Poland, where 17% of young adults define themselves as non-religious, followed by Lithuania with 25%.  ...

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/mar/21/christianity-non-christian-europe-young-people-survey-religion

    In the European Countries listed below, 50% or more of young people in the 16 to 29 year old group say that they have no religious affiliation. In other words, they are atheists. See the original article for a chart listing all the European countries and the percentages of religious affiliation.

    Czech Rep.
    Estonia
    Sweden
    Netherlands
    UK
    Hungary
    Belgium
    France
    Finland
    Denmark
    Norway
    Spain

    In Portugal, the group of young people under 30 who have no religious affiliation is about 40%. That is high for a country that is to preserve the faith according to Sister Lucy of Fatima. Thankfully, studies also show that as young people begin to have children, they usually return to the faith, but this may no longer be the case if their parents never raise them in the faith initially.

    There are other charts at the website that show the attendance at church services and the percentages of those who pray. These are quite dismal results.

    Here are the USA stats for the same age group.  A little better, but not much better at all.

    Sadly, the Pew study places JWs and Mormons within the Christian grouping.
    Neither of these two sects are Christians. Their founders were high degree masons.
    Catholic priests will baptize those JW or Mormon who sincerely want to convert.

  • Yes, George Soros, a Hungarian Jew, has been financing this entire operation.
    Do not use Progressive Insurance, which is owned by George Soros.

  • Europe needs to deal with this population in a stern and quick way.

    They will either convert, be deported and stripped of citizenship or as a last resort, be wiped out en masse. This includes the white converts to Islam - they're traitors to their race, God and country for apostatizing to a terrorist sect.

  • Ireland, the once land of saints and scholars, is now anti-Catholic. The main reason for this came from churchmen themselves. From the beginning of the 20th century sons and daughters were expected to become priests and nuns by their parents whether they had vocations or not. After the civil war in Ireland, a fighting group became the government, tried to become politicians. The Church was so powerful then that it filled the gap and opened up institutions with the co-operation of the state. These were single mother and baby homes, orphanages, laundries etc.. Unmarried mothers were seen as unforgivable sinners, their babies as bastards, products of sin, devils by some. A recent book by a 'victim' researched the death levels of babies in Catholic institutions, found the death rate was five times greater than in civil baby hospitals. Witnesses said the cows in Catholic institutions were fed better than the 'bastards' in their care. Thousands of grown men and women who survived these homes were disturbed for the rest of their lives. Then came a demand for adopted babies from all around the world. This turned into a multi million pound industry with babies sold to couples all around the world. The nuns and Church made fortunes and huge estates everywhere were bought up. With tombs of hundreds of dead babies now being unearthed, the scandals have destroyed the Catholic Church as a religion of love and care here in Ireland.
    Then came all the paedophile priest scandals and the cover-up from bishops to Rome. Not only did they do nothing but allowed them to continue by transferring them to other parishes.

    Then came Vatican II and that new Masses with little or no graces coming from them. No proper catechism until Catholics lost interest in everything Catholic. We are now into the second generation of empty Catholicism and soon our 80% catholic population is to vote in abortion. They are having it in May because YOUNG VOTERS are the ones who will get it passed. The government know this and are having it before many go away for the summer in June.

    As for the churchmen of Ireland, well they are mainly modernists, cowards and traitors. Afraid to say anything, that is those who have said it is up to the people to decide. They have become effeminate, just as the Scriptures prophesised. We were the first country in the world to vote in same-sex ‘marriage,’ with some priests advocating a yes vote in their churches. This year the Pope visits Ireland for some family do. The posters for this included lesbian couples until they were made to remove the image. The pope will visit after the abortion referendum of course. He is considered welcome by the anti-catholic politicians for they know he is loved by the world for his multi-culturalism. ‘They will hate you’ said Jesus, ‘as they hated me.’ Not any more, all Vatican II popes are loved by the world and Ireland, but not for their Catholicism, but for their modernism.

    Ireland now boasts of it ‘multi-culturalism.’ They have begun to impose male Muslims around the country in villages etc. They in turn will be able to get their families over to join them. Anything to rid the country of Jesus Christ and his religion. A friend once told me that God allowed Islam as a punishment for lapsed Catholics. It seems these times are coming around again. Another friend believes it is soon time for Our Lady to take over as things are now at rock bottom.

    Pray for Ireland

  • It should not be a surprise to anyone as a remnant church has always been predicted. You can’t have a remnant until the majority apostatizes.

    It is nonetheless heartbreaking to think of all the lost souls.

    What tombs exactly are you referring to? Is it Tuam? Because that's been proven as false. There haven't been any mass graves of infants found at Tuam, when I researched it a few years ago. The anti-Catholic media in Ireland have promoted lies about Tuam.

    Poland is also not only heavily Catholic, but also giving the Jew the most resistance in Europe these days. I'm sure that's no coincidence. Simply by refusing to take ownership of the so-called "holy-cost" and laying it at the feet of the Nazis is enough for Schmuley to wail worldwide at the Poles and accuse THEM of being "nazis" and "antisemites". ::)

    Remember, where Catholicism is strong, the antiChrist Jewry will become weak and your nation/culture/heritage will be protected.Otherwise, you will go down the tubes which is where the rest of Europe is heading these days...

  • Also, I noticed Ukraine being left off that list, which is suspect seeing that it is the largest European country outside of Russia , which many times does not consider itself "European" to some extent. Ukraine it seems is almost three quarters "religious" with various types of Orthodoxy being the dominant  group of Christian belivers;

    And yet the main focus of Fatima was the "errors" of Russia, which ironically is becoming more Christian these days than the rest of the decadent West. Maybe God is going to use Russia to chastise the former "christian" Europe in the future.

    Patriarch Kirill pointedly states the demoralization of the godless Western elites these days. I would love to actually see a "christian" Western religious leaders or one of the princes of the Church dare to come out and make a statement like this;

    Maybe Russia will be the one carrying the torch of Christianity in the near future;

  • I think the way to young people is through the internet and humor. Humorous memes are more important than actual discourse. I have argued with a few young atheists and they have a weak understanding of Christianity. Their understanding of Christianity was probably pieced together by a few memes and YouTube videos.    Traditional Catholics have almost zero YouTube presence. There is no young Catholics countering atheists or making any good content. Children are followers and if they're consuming anti-christian content then they will become anti-christians. This is the perfect age to win converts because most children aren't consuming traditional media.

    I new several young Catholics who wanted to convert the world.

    In their enthusiasm and zeal, they ventured over to atheistic websites, where they sparred with seasoned and hardened masonic freethinkers (atheists). They did not know logic that well, nor did they understand the depth of depravity of these masonic atheists. Spending all their free time debating these reprobates and precious little time in prayer, within a short time, these religious zealots had lost the faith and had become atheists.

    Pride comes before a fall.

  • it's even worse than these stats make out. most young people I know will say they're christian when asked, simply because they were raised christian and that's their default, but if you ask them if they believe in god they'll say no(and they don't seem to realise the contradiction there but whatever). so it's likely that a very large percentage of young christians aren't even christian at all.
