There was a mix up, evidently, and my request wasn't fulfilled as I had asked, but in such a way that I would not have even made the request had I know it would have been done that way.

I've sent him a couple messages today with my request to amend it, which I think were pretty reasonable.

At least a quick reply like, "I got your message, please stand by" would be nice.

I admit, though, that I never considered that, though it's unlikely, he may have simply not thought to look in his inbox all day.  If that is the case, Chant, I apologize for my presumption.

Simultaneously adjusting your avatar doesn't help.

Every post I have ever submitted would reflect the new username, my sig remains the same and leads to my blog, wherein my first and last name are published, the majority of posters already refer to me as CM, and I would certainly clarify for anyone who expressed confusion.

Hey, Catholic M --

Did you know that in Japan, "CM" is the common term for "TV commercial", just like when people in America hear "TV" they think "Television set"?

So, basically, your new name would be "TV commercial" to someone from Japan.

It is exactly as I have said in my PM to ChantCD.  I am already familiar as CM, and I do not feel deserving of having the word "martyr" in my username.

I have no desire to hide anything I have said in this forum.
