  • Notice I called my other thread "Chant isn't always wrong" instead of something like "I was right!!"

I know that even a broken clock is right twice a day. I post all kinds of stories which shed some light on the world we live in -- and give us some idea of what MIGHT happen (or what IS happening today, so that we can better guess about what might happen in the future)

Some of my posts are stories with outright predictions about what might happen -- and many of them never materialize. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't be prepared in these uncertain times.

I ALWAYS decide to "go out on a limb" with interesting stories that MIGHT be true. That is, I always decide to POST the story rather than NOT post it.

This isn't about Matthew's big ego trip, but instead it's about providing a community with information that they might find useful. I skim the headlines, filter the crap, find the gems, and post them all here. This is like the Drudge report for those who are "awake", but it's also a general Forum where people can socialize and talk about other topics. All in all, a very useful place to visit.

I welcome Vandaler (and others) to debunk any stories I post. I have a job (actually 2 jobs, since I have ChantCd.com on the side) and a family (2 kids now) so I don't have much time to look deeply into things. That is for other Cathinfo members to do -- so they can share their results with the rest of us here  :detective:

You'll notice I do my best to NOT post stuff that "can't be true". There are certain "traits" which automatically disqualify a story for consideration. If the article gets into "DaVinci Code" nonsense (Vatican intrigue, blurring Jesuits & Freemasons, etc.), or if the person talks about aliens, the story goes in the trash can.

There are many dead-ends on the road to Truth. Because I am a decently educated Catholic, I am aware of several of them. I will help us find the truth by doing the "primary filtering" of the daily news stories.

How about a Cathinfo tagline like: "No O.J. -- None of the Time!"

    In Christ,

    Matthew

I've been at my most active hammering away at this stuff this month all the while starting a new job with much increased responsibility.  I am thankful somehow for the hyper active mind I been given although I wish sometimes, the constant forum of ideas in my mind would quiet down once in a while to give me a break.
