Title: Catholics vs Evangelicals on Social Issues
Post by: Cantarella on May 30, 2014, 12:16:51 AM
There is more support for official Roman Catholic Church ‘positions’ among evangelical protestants than Catholics.

Not only most "Catholics" (in name only) reject Church Dogma, but fundamental aspects of the natural law.

Embarrassing!

Maybe this is why I stopped going to Mass every morning and instead watch the 700 Club.

These are not social issues by the way- these are moral issues.

But if you included social issues like immigration and poverty I am sure that the protestants would outshine the surplus of false catholics out there also.

"Catholics" these days are too socially liberal. Sigh. They need to either go be Protestant or cease using the name Catholic.

You cannot be morally degenerate like that and claim to be Catholic, it's an oxymoron.

 :dancing-banana:
The nondenominational school where I teach is loaded with staff raised after V2, many of them baptised Catholics, but whose parents left for Protestantism, or left for it themselves.  The majority hold moral views in line with traditional Catholicism except for use of non-abortaficient contraception.  We are the only "Christian" school in the area that receives no government funding,  does not teach the Common Core curriculum, and has tuition on level with Catholic schools.  All the diocesan schools teach the CC.  We are also recognised as a legitimate school by the state of NY and are accredited by four agencies, three of them secular.  In the last year we've grown whereas two nearby Catholic schools have closed.

Seems like they like to keep them dumb. Why teach catechism? Just be nice to each other.

None of this crap they're teaching is getting through to people. The ones who want be faithful end up going Protestant.

They are Heretics. Because of today's faulty soft system which is ineffective at dealing with evil and immorality, herecy is growing out of control. This is why I believe in bringing back the old ways.
