  • Can you explain to me what is wrong with the US Conservative movement in the USA ?

What are its flaws from a Catholic perspective?

It is impossible to have an effective political movement without a genuine comprehension of social and political reality.  The obscurantists who pander to the conservative ranks know this very well, and are intent on blackballing anyone who goes outside the lines set for established discourse, because if they don't, they won't be able to enjoy the perquisites of playing the phony opposition, and instead will find themselves facing persecution.
