  • Does anyone know how to contact them or if they have a phone number?

I see no phone number or email anywhere on the website.

  • It would appear that they only wish to be contacted by post:
Catholic Research Institute c/o Missionary Sisters of the Holy Ghost.

That's unfortunate. I want to place an order. I wanted to ask them some things before buying anything because I don't live in the States. So you just send them the money first and specify what you want and then just hope they will deliver?

  • Disputaciones, there was a time when all correspondence was done by post if one lived at a distance. It worked then and I'm sure the sisters would answer promptly any questions you have, by mail.

It is a nice surprise to see a group of nuns who are not using these more distracting means of communication. I should think that they don't use them as they would distract from their recollected contemplative life.

Not that I know these nuns. I was not even aware of their existence so what I say here is only surmising.

  • If we get to that, then they shouldn't even have a website to begin with.

Why should they not have a website? They still have be self-supporting I would presume. This is their mission as well as a means of support. If they didn't have a website I would probably never hear of them. Now I know of them and that's a good thing!

They have not refused to communicate. They obviously desire only to communicate by mail, and probably for the reasons I stated.

In fact it seems they deal with people of 17 different nations in their work. Surely they have the right to work as best suits them. After all, they are religious sisters.

  • What is the position of CRI re: the E rev @ S  :thinking:/ S rev @ E alleged  controversy?
There Is No Such Thing As 'Sede Vacantism'...
nor is there such thing as a 'Feeneyite' or 'Feeneyism'
