Catholic Leaders: We Must Wage War Against “Islamic State” to Defend Christians

All fights have two sides, and sometimes, when the combatants have similar ideals, backgrounds, and goals, it can be difficult for observers to tell them apart.

This is not one of those fights.

The brutal terrorists of the Islamic State have risen from a small player in the Syrian cινιℓ ωαr into a major cause of instability in the middle east. Led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, whom the Obama administration released from custody in 2009, it now controls large territories in Syria and Iraq, and reports of its savagery against its perceived enemies have finally led even this indecisive president to order airstrikes to protect innocent lives.August 12, 2014
All fights have two sides, and sometimes, when the combatants have similar ideals, backgrounds, and goals, it can be difficult for observers to tell them apart.

Support for that military action now comes from an unexpected corner, according to one report.

The Vatican’s representative in Iraq, Archbishop Giorgio Lingua, called military action against the brutal terrorists, “something that had to be done” if the Islamic State was to be stopped. Chaldean Patriarch Louis Sako of Baghdad went even further: “There is a need of international support and a professional, well-equipped army,” he said.

The Pope himself expressed “dismay and disbelief” about the situation in Iraq, adding that the Iraqis’ predicament “is going from bad to worse.”

Click here to watch video of Islamic State terrorists being blown up by American aircraft.

A representative of the Episcopal Church was also smuggled into the town of Qaraqosh, where the Islamic State holds sway. He reported the town largely abandoned, with local Christian churches taken over by militants as administrative buildings.

Worse, he reported on the savage brutality of the Islamic barbarians–one woman’s “finger hacked off after she could not remove her wedding ring,” and a church caretaker’s five-year-old son “hacked in half as he watched.”

Rarely in modern times have church leaders called for military action, but this situation is unique. Reports of armored vehicles firing indiscriminately at civilians, savage decapitations, and other atrocities abound.

Arguments from Hillary Clinton and others that the chaos in Iraq and the rise of the Islamic State are the fault of President Barack Obama’s disengagement from the middle east are largely accurate, as are claims that he waited far too long to take military action, but that hardly matters now.

The point now is to utterly wipe out the radical terrorists of the Islamic State.

Those of us who still have them can point fingers later.

Please share this article on Facebook and Twitter if you agree that the full force and power of the western nations must be brought to bear to destroy the barbarians of the Islamic State.

“The U.S. is building a giant embassy in Baghdad. Three years after the U.S. invaded Iraq only one major U.S. building project in Iraq is on schedule, a massive new American embassy - the biggest in the World!. It’s supposed to be completed in 2007. The fortress-like compound rising by the Tigris River is the largest of its kind in the world- the size of Vatican City. The embassy complex is 21 buildings on 104 acres and Vatican City is 108 acres.

With the population of a small city it has its own defense force and self-contained power and water. There are 5,550 workers building at the embassy. The new U.S. Embassy also is as cloaked in secrecy as the mini-state in Rome. Embassy Baghdad will dwarf U.S. embassies elsewhere that cover only 10 acres. Costs will run over a billion dollars”

The presence of the embassy is seen by Iraqis that it is the U.S. that actually exercises power in their county. The recreation building will house a swimming pool, gym, commissary, food court and American Club. It will be independent from the city utilities and surrounded by concrete walls with five high –security entrances. It is written of political Babylon – “How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously” – (Rev.19:7).

    Two questions:

Why has the US been supporting the terrorists (who have been savagely attacking Christians throughout Syria) against the Syrian government?

Why would the US government release a dangerous known terrorist?

I'm no lover of Islam of any type especially the new strain of vicious, barbaric Islam.  At the same time, I'm no fan of governments that support, legalize and export many if not all types of sin (e.g. abortion, sodomy, usury, immodesty, blasphemy etc.).

Question of the decade, right there.

The answer has something to do with the foriegn nation whose lapdog we have mysteriously become.

And whose real name, by some accounts, is Elliot Shimon...

But I'm sure that's just a crazy conspiracy theory. The Official Account that he's merely a supernaturally well organized and funded Supervillain who came literally out of nowhere is, I'm sure, much more reliable...

Because Obama is a Muslim and his brothers are the Muslim Brotherhood. Why hasn't the US government done anything to help the Marine being held in Mexico? Because the President is a terrorist that only cares about releasing traitors and Muslim terrorists.
