  • Hello,
Does anyone know of any good traditional sites that sell holy pictures and statues?
I am looking for a nice picture or statue of the Sacred Heart to enthrone in our home for the Feast of the Sacred heart. There are many online though a lot of them can be rather cheesy or cheap looking. I would also prefer to support a traditional Catholic site than a novus ordo one.
Good Catholic stores are so hard to find now as everything seems to be online now.

This is the one I have enthroned in my home.  There is a matching Immaculate Heart icon, but I cannot seem to find it.

  • We bought ours from Restored Traditions. Unfortunately, they stopped doing the printing and framing and now only sell the high resolution images. So, if you can find somewhere that will take a digital image and produce a nice framed print, you can get the image at restoredtraditions.com. It's better than nothing, but I was sad to hear they stopped doing the printing and framing as I'm very happy with the one we purchased.

So they charge just to download the image and then the customer has to send it somewhere else for printing and framing?

Site says the artwork is copyright free so what are they charging for?  What do they do to earn their fees?

Definitely would not shop with this outfit.

  • Would any of these work?

The same website also carries larger statues, but they're more intended for outdoor display.

My Chapel at Mount St. Michael has a beautiful gift shop

If you come to Mount St. Michael, make sure you visit the gift shop on the first floor. It is staffed by the Marian Sisters, who keep it well-stocked with traditional Catholic books, pictures, statues, rosaries, medals, scapulars, and many other items of interest to the faithful.

St. Michael’s Gift Shop is actually an outlet of Mary Immaculate Queen Center, CMRI’s apostolic center and religious mail order house which serves the needs of Catholics all over the world through the medium of the Internet. The Center is also responsible for printing and publishing CMRI’s quarterly traditional Catholic magazine, The Reign of Mary, as well as a full-color calendar, numerous pamphlets, booklets and leaflets.

Be sure to visit Mary Immaculate Queen Center’s web site at http://www.miqcenter.com

If you have any questions about the Gift Shop or the Center, please use this email form or call the Sisters at (509) 467-1077.

    Please pray for my soul.

  • Myrna,

Well I just spent a pile of money on books and a few medals.  I  am really delighted by the St. Francis scapular.
