I have a new computer and when I bring cathinfo up, it is very choppy and slow. Keystrokes lag and hesitate when typing. This does not happen on any other website. Is there something I can do about this?

I am having the same problem. I have a new computer as well, it ran fine for a while but the last day or two it has been very slow when I'm on CatholicInfo.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that my computer runs just fine on other sites as well, it's CatholicInfo that is slow even if I reboot my internet.

Yep, me too. Obviously the problem is not on our end. It's the same on my Droid phone and on my home computer, it's an ordeal to type out a sentence since the characters appear five seconds after you type them.

In other words, this has nothing to do with SS and Caminus having new computers, that's a coincidence.

I had noticed some odd behavior with the keystrokes too (but then again I tend to write up lengthy posts), but it seems to have gone away on my end.

As I am typing at this precise point of time, I do not notice anything wrong.

I was having the same problem. I thought it was a new program I was running, but I guess it was the site's problem. I didn't experience the same elsewhere.

Still dragging for me, but not as badly as it sometimes is. keystrokes faster, scrolling slow.

Testing testing... Appears to be much improved.
