To anyone considering joining CathInfo --

In the past, you had to mark your e-mail address as "private" to have it not show up in your profile.

However, from now on, e-mail addresses won't show up in one's profile regardless of the "show e-mail address" setting.

I modified the software.

So you can join with your main e-mail address, and no one will be able to send e-mail to it OR acquire it. Your e-mail won't be exposed at all, even for a few minutes.

I'm sorry I didn't do this sooner -- but like I said, the capability was always there to make your e-mail address private, for those who were interested. I'm just making it much easier now.
