    • Our old speed was somewhere between 2 and 8 MB.
    Our new speed is 100 MB. You should notice the difference!

    I just sent you a PM explaining my trouble so I'm using a proxy server now, and I thought that was why I'm able to log in suddenly and post, whereas I couldn't yesterday or this morning, earlier.

    FWIW typing this message has suddenly become effortless whereas there had been pauses and delays between keystrokes in the past. I had thought it was something in my computer that was to blame. Maybe the fiber optics connection is helping the text to flow better in the post box?

    For what it's worth, I have two windows open on my browser, one addressed to CathInfo -- which continues to display, as often as I reload or refresh it:

    • Checking the proxy and the firewall
    • Running Windows Network Diagnostics


    ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

    And the other, which is the one I'm using, is addressed to a proxy server, and it's working very well.

    In other words, the only way I can access CI is via this proxy server.

    • It takes awhile for various places to re-find the site when the IP address changes and it's rather random as to who sees it first and who takes a day or so to find it again.
