Sorry about the outage -- it appears someone doesn't like the recent content on CathInfo.

Funny...I just bumped some threads on TradCathKnight -- and if I'm not mistaken, we had DDoS attacks last time Eric Gajewski made the front page of CathInfo. That's too much to be a coincidence.

But here is an indisputable fact: "TradCatKnight" HAS been known to travel to the back alleys of the internet to buy illegitimate products like "ƚwιƚƚeɾ followers", "youtube likes", "fαcebσσƙ likes", "forum members" and other questionable ways to spend your money donations.

I could *easily* see such a person shelling out money for a DDoS attack against someone who ticked him off.

He is hotheaded, malicious, and petty. In fact, I'd be surprised if it *wasn't* him.

I learned some things tonight, gained a few skills, wrote a nice new script, and my server is in a stronger position than ever before.

Eat that, "false Great Monarch".

Ok, sorry for the 4.5 hour additional outage. This one was caused by me rebooting my router (trying to resolve a glitch) and my ISP still had my address "tied up".

My ISP said that yeah, they have to manually reboot it to "renew the lease" which is a huge pain. Oh well, at least I'm back up now.
