  • A DNA test has proven that Cardinal Franc Rode, the former prefect of the Congregagtion for Religous, cannot be the father of a German man who claimed to be the prelate's son. The Slovenian cardinal volunteered to take the paternity test after the 42 year old German man, who has not been publicly identified said that the cardinal conducted an affair with his mother years ago. The cardinal denied the affair and said that a paternity test would clear his reputation.

  • This is a traditional Catholic forum.  Whether or not some conciliar Bishop has a bastard or not is really of trivial importance, considering the immensity of the scandals currently afflicting the Church.

  • There are a lot of people who like to spread malicious gossip about other people. Often those people are never able to regain their good reputations. I think that when someone is vindicated it should be publicized.

I doubt anyone here ever heard about the accusations against this bishop before you posted this story.

As for the towering scandals in the conciliar Church, those are not matters of malicious gossip but are public matters pertaining to the horrible betrayal and apostasy of so much of its hierarchy.

Since when is this board supposed to be spammed with Novus Ordo news?

It's starting to read like the neo-dici and the neo-Angelus.

Since when is Catholic news verboten?  What have you got against Catholics?

    Is the conciliar church Catholic?

Since when do Trads spend their time concerning themselves with this sort of thing?

Have you watched and listened to Father Chazal's sermons?

This poche character has a calculated modus operandi to disrupt this board with his passive aggression.  Matthew should have banned him the moment he started judaizing.  Saying he supported an agreement is bad enough.  Then saying Jєωs are still the chosen people should lead to a banning.

So, you agree with Fr. Feeney now  And  you are a sede vacantist.  Oh yeah, and you think the society is not catholic either.

Yes it's very important that we do as much as we can to restore a person's good name even when we didn't start the rumor ourselves.  Unfortunately people only remember the negative and even when the person is cleared of wrongdoing.  Its true that once your reputation is ruined, where do you go to get it back.
My conscience compels me to make this disclaimer lest God judges me partly culpable for the errors and heresy promoted on this forum... For the record I support neither Sedevacantism or the SSPX.  I do not define myself as either a traditionalist or Novus

Nonsense.  This bishop is in apostolic succession and is an alter Christus.  He represents Christ to the world, and shares in governing Christ's Church.  it makes a huge difference whether he defiled that ministry, or whether he is the victim of a false allegation.  That would be true of anyone accused of anything.  It is even more important for a bishop.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

The conciliar episcopacy, that you are certain is validly ordained and consecrated and with valid jurisdiction from a valid Pope, has far more serious problems than the results of a paternity test.

The scandals are towering.  This news is irrelevant to Trads.

If this were an isolated post I wouldn't care, but when you start seeing what we've seen in dici and the Angelus, a constant obsession with Novus Ordo news, as though it were important and relevant, and you seem someone here trying to fill this board with posts of a similar nature, then you have to wonder what the agenda is.

Particularly in light of other things this poster has said.

  • Well, no argument from me that there are far bigger scandals out there.
