Would Cardinal Turkson be a good Pope towards tradition. What do you think?

Also would Cardinals Ouellet or Burke be the best Pope for tradition?

Lets talk about the different front runners and their pros and cons.

None of the above.

I've not heard of anyone who would return the Church to tradition, but of course miracles do happen.

Turkson is the head of the "Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace" and has called for a one world bank - in other words, a nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr.

Burke is probably the best choice, but still would not lead the Church back to Tradition.

I don't know what to think about this matter. I know that the conclave will not elect a traditionalist who would restore all things to Christ. Part of me is hoping that the new Pope would be so liberal that the SSPX would give up any idea of compromising wit modernist Rome and part of me is hoping that the new Pope would be more conservative so the Novus Ordo Church would not spin out of control so quickly. I do not know which would be better.

I'm no fan of the Neo Con Cardinal Burke but he has great support among the pro-life movement in Ireland and among some in the SSPX chapels here. When Cardinal Burke was in Ireland he told a pro-agreement SSPX priest at Knock Shrine to "keep up the good work".For many Cardinal Burke is a 'friend of Tradition'.

We could do a lot worse than Cardinal Burke. I wouldn't hold my breath, though. If it is going to be an American, which is almost impossible, it will be Dolan, which is unthinkable.

Bishops can be elected to Pope, not just Cardinals. In fact, Archbishop Lefebvre reportedly received several votes for the Papacy. I say elect Bishop Williamson. He would make an excellent Shepherd for the Universal Church and remove the eclipse of the true Faith.

I have had similar thoughts. I pray for either Cardinal Burke or some outrageous modernist who "excommunicates" the SSPX and moves full steam ahead with the destruction. I simply want a little clarity to the confusion. In my mind, at least, if either of the above scenerios plays out my personal confusion will be pretty cleared up.....especially if the latter occurs.

What I don't want is another "conservative" man of the Council who speaks out both sides of his mouth.

I say that Cardinal Turkson would be a very bad choice for a Pope
for the following reasons, and has nothing to do with him being
African.

The following I fished out of Wikipedia:

a. He called for establishment for a global world authority and a
world bank.

My comment, It would be run by the same people that caused the
social and financial crises in the first place. The one world government
will not be run by Christians but communists and socialists whom are
dedicated in purging all what is left of Christian Civilization.

b. He did not rule out the uses of condoms in all circuмstances,
suggesting that they would be useful in the situation of the
married.

My comment, Turkson does not believe in Fatima in which the
Blessed Mother said that more souls go to hell because of the
sins of the flesh. And, many marriages are bad (1917).
This advice is sending souls to hell.

c. Also calls for the respect of ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs and that they
should not be stigmatized.

My comment, What ever has happened to purity. Turkson
when he became a priest is under the obedience of Chastity.

I say the best choice would be if we could only have a Catholic pope, for a change, now wouldn't that be a novel from the Modernist view point.

Since I am dreaming let me add a good, holy Catholic pope.

I seriously doubt that one out of the whole lot of them is actually a valid bishop. :furtive: Seems that they don't even worry about their own doubtful orders.??
