Smoking descrates the body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. It also creates the potential for shortening the plans He has for His temple by placing the risk of disease in His path.

Tell that to St.Pius X, puritan.

St. Pius X didn't smoke cigarettes because they didn't even exist (as they are now) during his time. What he did was snuff.

He smoked cigars and kept a humidor on his desk.

What's the source for this.

You look for one. I'm busy.

There's different accounts circulating that have both Pope Leo XIII and St.Pius X offering cigars to clerics in audience. Both popes are known to have smoked cigars.

As Fr. Bonfil used to say: "Better to smoke here than in the hereafter."

You're the one throwing out those assertions without any evidence, so it's your duty, not mine.

All I've read about is snuff, not cigars.

My brother smokes cigarettes. He has tried to quit several times but always fails. I'd say he's addicted. I smoke different things, cigars, pipes, cigarettes, probably 4-5 times a week on average. But sometimes if I can't get to the store or just don't feel like smoking I'll go several weeks without. I enjoy smoking and have never tried to quit. I would not say that I'm addicted.

Graham (cracker) the occultic name representing a force to CRACK the family. First the health, then the morals, then the marriage. The Harlequin card trick cloaked in "moderation" and "self control" - deeds encouraged of you by The Joker.

Fist Full of Dollars of daily choices and living. Game over.
