  • They will bait you and make you look foolish unless you have experience in these kinds of things. Sadly, I do not.
I could shoot him? But that would be uncharitable and unproductive.

  • Unless you are prepared to give a concise and well-reasoned argument in defense of the Traditional Catholic position, then it is a waste of time to call in.

The nature of these radio shows doesn't really allow for a reasoned debate though.

  • They have a video advertisement when you go to Catholic answers website.
It is a heartfelt plea for 300 grand.
    LMAO

    That is your legacy!
You wanted to turn the booming pre-Vatican2 church into this abomination of desolation, so be it, reap what you sow!
The last novus ordo pensioner will be dead in a few years, then you can turn the lights out and formally hand over the cathedral to the protestants or muslims or Buddhists.
Stupid novus ordo freaks ruined the 2000 year glorious Catholic church.

  • Do you think it's funny how all the radio or TV personalities seem to be ex-protestants?

People who converted from a vanity based religion like protestantism would view Catholic history as something to be ignored.

I was listening to a Catholic radio station on FM/Sirius and the host was laughing about some N.O. conservative priest saying that kneeling was the appropriate posture.  The host was laughing saying that Vatican II ordered all thos communion rails to be removed and since the Pope doesn't think it's the proper position then this conservative N.O. preist is just giving his own interpretation.

The novus ordo structure seems to be putting these ex-protestant front and center as public relations guys.  These former protestants can't really have a deep understanding of Catholicism, they would formulate it as a self-held idea.  Now, it doesn't matter that there are less converts post-Vatican II than pre-.  These guys seem to be the chosen front men for the new church.

Protestantism is false and is a dying ecclesial structure - although it was nevery a solid belief system.  And the protestant sects have really been taken over by the leftists and marxists (even more so than the novus ordo).

The front men are the public face of omitting or altering or blurring our Catholic Traditions.  That's my conclusion.  Being new to the Faith (and they are embracing the protestantised version), they would never grasp the meaning of the Traditional Latin Mass nor would they fully appreciate the hierarchy.

I will always be baffled by the protestant near psychotic aversion to Our Blessed Mother but I know in my heart of hearts that this aversion is because protestants are followers of Satan and his fallen angels.

  • It seems Rome has instructed their smooth talking shill boy, Patrick Coffin, to demonize "traditional" (real) Catholics with ad hominems as "Mad Trads" and "Rad Trads" in an attempt to discredit true Catholics and the Church. They know some NewChurchers are waking up to the Conciliar errors, so they want to halt any possible conversions of novus ordites to the true Faith and Mass by smearing "traditionalists".

It kind of reminds me of how certain Protestant churches that emphasize holiness have a thing for conversion stories. Drug dealers, adult entertainers, criminals, who were "saved" are glamorized.  I remember a very good man, who did a lot for us youth, spoke against that once, a girl in class said something about his testimony and he said not to admire that, it was a great witness that we never touched beer/went to parties things like that. It went over my head at the time but I get it now. You see the same thing with the pro-life groups, woman fornicated, murdered two children, now she is the keynote speaker at the pro-life rally!

  • This "Mad Trad" phenomenon is disgusting.  Smug modernist pro-Novus Ordo Catholics are worse than pagans and Protestants.  These people are betrayers.

Mad Trad?  Give me a break.

Catholic Answers Forum just wants to take cheap shots.

If they actually wanted informative discussions in regards to Traditionalist Catholics, they would have invited actual informed speakers and representatives of the movement.  Instead, they like to bait laypeople who probably don't have the necessary tact for their slithery smug condescension.
