  • They're in "crisis" all right - always have been, and I don't mean financially.

This looks an awful lot like an answer to my fervent prayers of the past 2 months or so. Please God let this be the beginning of the end of that heretical cesspool that drags souls into damnable, hellish error:

  • Three Hundred Thousand Dollars?  In less than a month?

I've heard they ask for a lot, but this is a joke.  Try Jєω Answers.  There is no way on earth that program costs that much to run.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • The video has 119 views.  Wonder if those people have 300 Grand sitting around?  After there blatant attack on traditional Catholics, I pray they go down in flames.

  • More tolerance of more falsehood requires more money  :confused1:

By that kind of reasoning, it would make sense to buy a helicopter to get to Mass faster

Well I guess when (not "if") they don't they don't get it, they'll have to go out and get real jobs like the rest of us.

  • CAF's smug attitude does not help their cause.

  • I find the timing perfect considering their recent hatchet job on "radical traditionalists" (read: real Catholics). By the way, here's the latest soliciation from Vox on Fish Kill:

News: I NEED your money. Seriously. See pinned thread in News & Announcements sub-forum to learn how to send me some!

Pathetic and hilarious at the same time.
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • As the owner of a decent sized message board, I think it's ridiculous that a forum -- even the size of Catholic Answers -- needs that kind of money.

Why do they have "employees" anyhow? They should rely on volunteers.

(As an aside, I don't know how much Vox is asking for.)

Trads are used to the concept of having volunteer moderators -- apparently in the Novus Ordo world, all jobs are commonly paid. I guess that's to be expected when there's plenty of people and plenty of money sloshing around.

At our SSPX chapel, virtually all the jobs are done by volunteers. But those same jobs in the local diocese? All professional, hired out, paid positions.
