Apparently men are instantly attracted to celebrity...even if it's feigned.

I remember seeing this a couple of years ago. Funny and pathetic at the same time. I'll bet half of those interviewed couldn't say the Lord's Prayer, but they fawn over a faux celebrity.

There are actually people who go to secluded cafes and bistros where celebrities have been known to pop in unannounced, and these people hang out there expecting that perchance they'll get to "see someone famous."

The people starstruck in this short video were likely out looking for the chance to "see somebody famous" and so this guy showing up with the crew was kind of a dream come true for them.

It's a great idea, because the more wise guys like this do such things, the less gullible people might become, when they see themselves being made the fool on Candid Camera.

I have chance meetings with Jimmy Stewart, Gary Busey, Lloyd Bridges, and several others, and it didn't change my life. I wasn't swooning for days. What's the big deal?

I've heard that some think that they get "energy" from being in the presence of famous people. Time was, Catholics thought that about the relics of the saints and the Blessed Sacrament, or holy water.
