He needs to find a way to survive until Bishop Fellay's term runs out, I guess.

Imagine how different things would be if Bishop Tissier were Superior General!

  • From Traditio.com (not always an accurate source):

Bishop Williamson Is Exonerated by a German Appeals Court
His Conviction for Expressing an Opinion Has Been Vacated for "Irremediable Procedural Problems"

Senior Bishop Richard Williamson (Left) Took on Benedict-Ratzinger and Won
After Three Years His Conviction in a German Court for Expressing an Opinion
Has Been Vacated, and His Fine Rescinded
    Williamson's Opinion Crippled Benedict-Ratzinger's Newpapacy
Which Experienced A Brutal Trauma in Its "Oecuмenical" Pandering to Secularists

Benedict-Ratzinger tried to quash him and failed. Bernie Fellay tried to quash him and failed. Anti-Catholic secularist radicals tried to quash him and failed. Finally, after three years, in an Ash Wednesday (February 22, 2012) decision, a German Appeals Court has quashed the conviction of the Neo-SSPX's senior bishop, Richard Williamson, for expressing his opinion on a disputed matter of secular history. The Appeals Court in Nuremberg ruled that there were "irremediable procedural problems" and vacated the decision against Williamson, at the same time rescinding the 8,600-dollar fine previously imposed.
Since January 2009, Williamson must have been suffering three years of Hell for simply expressing an opinion in an interview for Swedish Public Television, recorded in Germany. He must now must rightly be feeling vindicated, because he has claimed from the beginning that his trial was deeply flawed in what amounted to a "kangaroo court." Williamson now might well be thinking of Our Lord's statement:
Every one therefore that heareth these my words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man that built his house upon a rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell not. And every one that heareth these my words, and doth them not, shall be like a foolish man that built his house upon the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof (Matthew 7:24-27/DRV).
In the process, Williamson crippled the Benedict-Ratzinger Newpapacy, which experienced a brutal trauma in its "oecuмenical" pandering to anti-Catholic secularist Jєωιѕн interests. In January 2009 Ratzinger tried to entice Williamson and the other three Neo-SSPX bishops into his New Order sect by "unexcommunicating" them from that sect.
Williamson refused to pander to Benedict-Ratzinger, one of the Modernist leaders of the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965), and courageously spoke his mind. Ratzinger was so publicly embarrassed that he lied to the world, saying that he would not have proceeded with the "unexcommunications" of the four Neo-SSPX bishops if he had known about Williamson's opinion on the disputed matter of secular history. In fact, Ratzinger's own nuncio had informed him weeks in advance of Williamson's opinion, to be aired on Swedish Public Television, an opinion that Williamson had also expressed publicly several years previously in Canada.
The frantic secularists, however, have vowed not to leave the courageous traditional Catholic bishop in peace. They have already indicated that they will try to engineer a new trial against him, perhaps as soon as the end of March 2012. Rumor has it that Fellay will be removed in July at the SSPX chapter  or regional (or whatever) meeting, and that Bishop Garlarous (sp?)  will replace him.

Wishful thinking, but I doubt that.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.
