Ok, I had to post this one. It is simply beyond the pale. If this doesn't shock your Sensus Catholicus you should make a bee-line to Fish Eaters.

Only one poster at CA was the least bit upset.

The slide of the "conservative" NO into the worst excesses of liberalism has never been more apparent.

Even my father can see what is going on since the election of Obama. Reading Our Sunday Visitor, reading about the betrayal of the pro-life cause by l'Osservatore Romano and Buttiglione, and watching the Pope enthusiastically greeting Obama is enough to know they betray us not merely because they are weak, they betray us because they are not on our side.

Maybe it shouldn't, but it continues to amaze me how utterly shocking things are not shocking to Neo-Caths/ Trads. In fact, they are upset at Catholics who ARE shocked, implying they are judgers and haters, and then they defend the shocking behavior. It really is amazing. The world turned upside down...

One thing to keep in mind is that internet posters are not typical, and there is no telling who they really are of if they are what they claim to be. Generally they probably are who they say they are, but that does not mean they are representative.

Catholic Answers is run by people who are committed to defending the hierarchy, and we all know about fisheaters.

The people running the forums are responsible for what is allowed to fly.

I had to see if FE had this topic. Thankfully, most of those who posted on FE to this topic did have a problem with it. I guess that there is still an ounce of sanity there, while there may be none at Catholic Answers. However, 2-3 over at FE did try to defend it mostly for sentimental reasons.

Someone on AQ said it well, "Man never becomes "progressively desensitized" to occasions of sin. He merely becomes progressively desensitized to the fact that he is sinning."

Its high time for conservative NO Catholics t owake up and smell the manure. Without a 100% restoration of tradition to the Church the world will continue to slip into madness.
