I figured it out… it’s a Dutch East Indies opium trade ship. Needs to be excavated and placed in a museum right next to Barry Seals C-130.

I’m surprised the ship isn’t melted from the pools of molten iron that was the biproduct of the thermate reaction that burned hot there for 6 weeks after the towers collapsed 9 years ago from the controlled demo of the three bldgs.

No worries though. I’m sure they have plenty of money to halt the project while they dig it up and then move on to build their new asbestos free towers now the Silverstein got his record insurance settlement and ridded himself of a multi billion dollar asbestos problem all due to those crafty arabs with boxcutters.

And to think that it only cost the lives of 1000’s of good Americans as well as countless rescue workers that are now sick and dying because the same gov’t that covered it up also lied to the rescue workers and told them the air was fine to breath.

But hey, let’s celebrate… we found a ship. Go back to sleep sheeple… your gov’t loves you!

Since they found anything an archeologist would be interested in, they construction should stop until the archeologists have done all their study and give their ok to continue. I say ’should’ glibly. The Earth is for the living, not the dead. Of course, a cemetery should never be ransacked and built over, but I betcha ‘they’ don’t consider almost 3000 dead a cemetery.

Yes, a long time ago some land was filled in, and among other things at lot of old ships got buried. They've also found them digging subway tunnels. It's my understanding that a number of ships that were not in use were simply sunk to help fill it in. Thus, I wouldn't be surprised to hear even more stories like this.

This is about the second or third that I've heard of, though, since a few years ago when I started watching the news in the archeology world.
